I’M CLOSING THE DOORS
According to a local official, it has already been decided that the liquor license that �“KMH SOMETHING CLEVER LLC” currently holds will be given to a different party come renewal time. Because this information didn’t reach me with the courtesy and respect I would have expected or hoped for, I have decided to walk away from this adventure, and not reapply for said license.
I’m a bit bewildered by people in general… I’m not new here… everyone has seen my best and worst behavior and I’ve probably seen yours since I’ve likely been behind a bar near you at some point in the last 20 years 🤣 and I’ll stay the same simple honest mouthy as***le I’ve always been and Im walking away with a clear conscience knowing that I have never lied, cheated, stolen or purposely done anyone dirty. I still have a handful of people to love, and thats what matters ❤️
I would like to thank all of those who have enjoyed and supported this establishment since September - through everything - the excitement of opening, the obstacles, the chaos, the fun, the good the bad & the ugly, the truth & the lies, the police harassment, and even now to the very end! It takes all kinds of kinds, and there has been so much to laugh about, cry about, be grateful for, and downright spiteful for in the last 8 months! It’s nice to know that some things never change - there’s no doubt that the constant chaotic nonsense that is my life will continue on! I’d like to thank everyone who helped when I asked, and especially those I didn’t have to ask. Love & loyalty can be felt, IYKYK!
I don’t know when I’ll be “done done”… I’ll still be open to offer what great food and fun is still available while wrapping up this chapter and looking for some sanity & peace & employment that comes with a paycheck 😉
