The 1836 Club

The 1836 Club The 1836 Club is a private club in Little Rock, AR. The 1836 Club is named for the year Arkansas achieved statehood.

The 1836 Club is an exclusive club for business professionals to enjoy good company, food, drinks and ci**rs in an environment designed for men and women to foster new contacts and opportunities. Located in the historic Packet House, The 1836 Club embraces the rich history of the home and the state of Arkansas. The Packet House is one of the oldest remaining homes in Arkansas. It was built in 1869

by United States Senator Alexander McDonald. As you walk through the 12,000 square foot home, you will be amazed by the beautiful architecture, well preserved features of the home and the modern amenities that have been provided exclusively for our members. The first floor of The 1836 Club boasts of a beautiful and relaxing bar area, winner of the regional American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) award, as well as private dining rooms for members' business dinners or social occasions – The Governor’s Room, Caucus Room and main dining. As you take the beautiful 150-year old staircase to the second floor, you will encounter the Churchill Cigar Lounge, Little Rock’s finest cigar room. It is beautifully decorated with leather furniture and styled similar to an English library with numerous pictures of Winston Churchill. There is a perfectly monitored humidor room and a wide selection of premium ci**rs. It’s a wonderful place to unwind after a hard day's work while enjoying your favorite cigar and libation. Also, on the second floor, you will find the Pilot’s Lounge which pays homage to the history of the aeronautical industry – Arkansas’ largest export. The Pilot’s Lounge offers a more casual environment where you can watch the game on one of the flat screen TVs while enjoying your favorite drink at the unique bar. The front of the one of a kind bar displays the partial fuselage of a Boeing 737 while the top of the bar depicts runway 18 and 36 of the Clinton National Airport. Apply for membership and enjoy the experience of The 1836 Club as your home away from home. We look forward to welcoming you, delivering excellent service and providing you with a perfect venue for establishing business connections and creating meaningful friendships.
