It’s no secret that this summer in Jersey has been giving us a whole lot of gray skies, sudden downpours, and stormy weather. So, we decided to lean into the storm and drop a beer built to help you ride it out. Dreadful Wind & Rain is a new beer brewed to help turn those gloomy summer nights into something a little more enjoyable.
Clocking in at a heavy-hitting 12% ABV, this Imperial Stout, conditioned on Coffee, Vanilla, and Toasted Coconut, is a high-fidelity sensory trip crafted for deep comfort. It pours pitch black with a thick, tan head, immediately filling the air with rich aromas of freshly roasted espresso, sweet pastry, and warm toasted oak.
Upon tasting, we’re finding a tidal wave of bold, dark chocolate and rich roasted coffee notes, followed by smooth, decadent layers of sweet Madagascar vanilla and warm, caramel covered coconut. It’s all wrapped up in a thick, velvety, full-bodied framework that coats the palate and delivers a long, satisfying warmth on the finish.
