The Lisle Park District is looking for a qualified restauranteur to provide food & beverage services at River Bend Golf Club in the restaurant and bar space formerly known as Wheatstack.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce Wheatstack will permanently be closing its doors beginning Monday, January 1, 2024.

We are truly grateful for your loyalty and appetite over our years in business. We couldn't have reopened the restaurant after the pandemic without the support of our returning guests and devoted community. We are beyond humble to have been a place where many celebrated milestones in their lives, met with friends, dined with family, and shared meaningful conversation and cherished moments with one another.

Although we will be permanently closing the restaurant and bar at the end of 2023, we hope you will find the time to come in and join us for one last meal or drink to toast to our years in service and the friends we’ve made throughout the years.

From the bottom of our hearts to you and yours, thank you. We hope you have a safe & healthy holiday season.

🥂 Celebrate the new year with a prime rib or filet mignon dinner special here at the 'Stack!

Get a 10 or 14 oz. prime rib or 6 oz. filet mignon and cheers to a new year on Sunday, December 31, from 4-9pm.

Reservations are recommended for seating in the dining room and first come, first served in the bar area. The restaurant will close at 10pm and will not be open at midnight.

🐟 It's Fish Fry Friday! Look at that delicious, crispy, mouth-watering beer battered cod – served up with your choice of fries, tots or chips.

Fridays might be our favorite day of the week, too, and not just because the 9-5 work week ends! Treat yourself to our award-winning fish fry for only $10.95 every Friday from 4-9pm while enjoying our cozy, festive atmosphere.
