Four hikers walked by this morning and asked if we were open. Unfortunately, since we’re now closed Tuesdays, I had to turn them away.

Then I noticed the heavy packs. Turns out they had just finished a 92-mile weekend hike through the White Mountains. 😳🥾

There was no way I was sending them on their way without a well-earned b**r. So… I opened the bar. 🍻

Hiking the White Mountains: perfect.
No place to grab a b**r: unfortunate.
A friendly bar owner: priceless. 😂🍺

They earned it. Cheers, hikers! And if you’re passing through the mountains, you never know when the bar might just open for you. ❤️🏔️
