Tristans story,
“I was raised in a small skin town in the SW Colorado Rockies. Fell in love with cooking and cuisine at a young age due to my mom. I started in commercial kitchens at the age of 14. I spent a year on the Greek islands in 2002 when I was 17 and fell in love with Mediterranean cuisine. At age 20 I moved to Portland, OR to follow my passion and attend culinary school. I graduated from Western Culinary Institute in 2006 with degrees in both culinary arts and viticulture. I love wine as much as food! I spent the next 6 years in Portland learning from some of the best chefs in the Pacific Northwest. In 2012 I moved back to Colorado and worked as a chef in SW Colorado and NW New Mexico. I moved to St. Louis, MO in 2016 and worked as Chef de Cuisine at an Italian bistro. In 2017 I moved to Florida to be here for my son. I am a single dad with full custody, and the only thing I love more than cuisine and food is my son. My recent home was at the Lighthouse Point Yacht Club as Executive chef then chef de cuisine. Now I'm with the EDBL family and I'm so excited for the future and the most excited I've been about my career ever.

I love motocross, football (American and English), the shooting range, the beach, random road trips, adventures with my son, and just enjoying life at every moment. I know more jokes than probably anyone else in the world. If I wasn't cheffing I'd probably be a stand up comedian! Also, I am the ultimate gr**go. I'm whiter than white. I don't tan, I burn and peel!
