Election season is never easy, and it takes courage to put your name on the ballot and ask your community for its trust.
Congratulations to the candidates who earned their partyโs nomination and will move forward to represent their respective parties in the general election. We wish you success as you continue your campaigns and work to serve Lincoln County, Montana, and our nation.
To those who didnโt advance this time, thank you for stepping into the arena. Public service requires sacrifice, dedication, and a willingness to be scrutinized. We encourage you not to let this result define your future. Our communities need engaged citizens and leaders, and we hope youโll continue looking for ways to serve.
We also want to extend a special thank you to the incumbents whose primary campaigns came to an end this election cycle. Your years of service to our community and state deserve recognition and appreciation. Public service is often a thankless job, and we are grateful for the time, effort, and commitment you devoted to the people you represented.
A heartfelt thank you also goes out to the many individuals, organizations, and volunteers who worked tirelessly to help educate voters throughout the election season. The candidate meet-and-greets, social media interviews, community discussions, and in-person forums provided valuable opportunities for voters to learn about the candidates and the issues that matter most to our community. An informed electorate is essential to a healthy democracy, and your efforts made a difference.
Most importantly, thank you to every voter who participated in the democratic process. Regardless of party affiliation, an informed and engaged electorate is what keeps our communities strong.
Cheers! ๐ป
