It's about time we gave a big THANK YOU to everyone who attended, played, sang, painted, recited, volunteered, recorded, fed artists backstage, or any other important role at this year's festival (and if you were there in any capacity, you were important!)! Even now, 4 days into our, er, recovery post-festival, we are filled with the light, love and gratitude that the entire weekend inspired. We already can't wait until next year (and trust us, there are already some great things in the works!) and hope you're already making plans to join us then. Mipso, The Billy Sea, The Honeycutters, BIG DADDY LOVE, Acoustic Syndicate and a Late night Jam hosted by The Broadcast today at the North Carolina Music and Arts Festival! Tickets are available at the door! 4:00-12:00 tonight at the Edward C. Smith Civic Center!

A crowd of about 60 people and the Americana/folk tunes of Tyler Nail and his band helped kick off the second North Carolina Music and Arts Festival on Friday afternoon.

Here's a shot from last night's absolutely incredible late (LATE) night jam, hosted by BIG DADDY LOVE and featuring an amazing rotating cast including Aaron Wood, Jeff Sipe, members of The Deluge Music and so many more. We highly recommend that you go ahead and plan to make your Festival day today last well into tomorrow morning, with tonight's jam hosted by The Broadcast!
