π₯π is the perfect time to celebrate the rich history behind Old Forester, the First Bottled Bourbonβ’.
Born on September 2, 1846, in Munfordville, Kentucky, founder George Garvin Brown eventually moved to Louisville and began working as a pharmaceutical salesman. It was that experience that inspired him to create Old Forester in 1870, offering consumers a consistently sealed, quality bourbon at a time when whiskey quality could vary greatly. More than 150 years later, Old Forester continues to honor that legacy with every pour. β¨
