I know a couple of days ago I said no more cutouts….but here we are and a chest high hive in a tree broken by a wind storm is now in good hands.

I did manage to get the landowner stung when he was giving me some tape to cobble my gloves, and my sister caught a stray when I stopped to check her project out. I learned a nice reminder about storm bees, rainy days, wearing thin pants and not sipping my veil completely.

Also to clarify. We are not out of the honey business. We are just reducing products, taking a break from cutout removals and will only be accepting local swarms when I can get them.

Life is about choices and we have made some decisions for 2026.

This year I won’t be doing any bee cutout removals(unless you’re on a small list of people I owe big favors). We have also evaluated sales results vs effort and we have decided to suspend making hot honey. We will also no longer make creamed honey all year and will decide this fall if there is enough demand it become a seasonal product for the holidays.

Thank you for the support an we will work to try to keep providing raw, local honey to our supporters.
