ASHEVILLE BARNAROO Voted WNC's # 3 camping festival by Mountain Xpress Magazine Readers. Located at Frannys Farm. BARNAROO was started by Andrew Scotchie and friends in 2009.

Benefiting the Asheville Music School The festival began when a group of young adults realized they could not get into Bonnaroo Festival, and decided to create their own. From there, the ASHEVILLE BARNAROO Festival ran for several years on the Andrew Scotchie family land in Weaverville, NC, welcoming friends and musicians from near and far. In 2012 the festival moved to Franny's Farm in Leicester.

It was time to expand the experience and invite even more friends. BARNAROO is a regional festival (camping optional) that celebrates the spirit of regional and local rock and roll. A portion of festival proceeds benefits Asheville Music School, and so does our awesome annual silent auction! We're ready with a stellar lineup for 2016. Get ready to ROCK THE BARN at Franny's Farm!!!!!!!!!
