This is a post from Griff's Grub here at the Towamensing Volunteer Fire Company.

A note to pool players in the area: Pool sessions are ending or have ended for the summer session, and the fall session is just around the corner. I'm looking forward to hosting those interested in forming a team, or moving a current team to Griff's Grub, reach out and let's explore the possibilities. We have a full kitchen, and plenty of space with two Diamond Pool tables.

On another note, I'll be attempting to form a team to shoot APA 8 ball on Wednesday nights. We'll provisionally be called the Grub Rats. If interested message me.

It’s Wing Night with Rikki & Friends, and Ben’s got his umbrella ready for whatever Mother Nature decides to throw at us tonight!

Come escape the rain, grab some 80¢ wings — eat-in only, all day, and stick around for Rikki & Friends from 6–9 PM!

We’ve also got Kielbasa with Cabbage & Potato Dumplings, Tiramisu Cheesecake, and Crab Rangoons available tonight.

The roads may be wet, the forecast may be questionable, and Ben’s umbrella may be slightly undersized… but the wings are hot and the drinks are cold.

If we’re going to need a boat to get anywhere, it might as well be headed to Griff’s. 😂

It’s Friday at the bar, which means we’re officially entering the “I survived the week and now I deserve snacks and questionable decisions” era.

FRIDAY DAYTIME:
We’re serving up good food, cold drinks, and that peaceful early-weekend energy where everyone says “just one drink” and absolutely does not mean it. It’s the perfect time to recover from the week, catch up with friends, and pretend you’re being productive while you slowly turn into weekend mode.

FRIDAY NIGHT:
That’s when things take a turn.

DJ Richie Green takes over from 8PM–1AM for Karaoke Night, where confidence is high, pitch is optional, and everyone suddenly believes they could have been a backup singer if life had gone differently.

It’s WING NIGHT at the Haus!

Unfortunately, Damian won’t be joining us tonight because he’s under the weather. We hope you feel better soon, Damian—we’ll miss you tonight!

But the wings are still flying, the drinks are still cold, and we’ll see everyone at Griff’s Ale Haus for Wing Night! Come hungry, leave full, and try not to judge yourself by the number of bones left on your plate.

IT’S TACOS & TRIVIA with TRIO!

We’ve been patiently waiting for this day to come back… mostly because we need confirmation that there are people out there who know even more completely useless s**t than we do.

Grab your smartest friends. Or your dumbest friends. Honestly, the dumb ones are usually way more entertaining.

Come test all that useless knowledge taking up valuable space in your brain—the random facts you remember perfectly while forgetting why you walked into a room 47 times a day.

And remember: the more you drink, the smarter your answers will sound. That is absolutely not scientifically proven, but this is a bar, not Harvard.
