95% of last year’s batch destined for LS Downtown Octoberfest ended up leaking into the “jockey box” (aka trash can with a tap). This year I will not repeat that mistake. This is good beer destined for your taste buds.

Hop Water Attempt 2

5 gal RO
2 Oz lime juice
1/2 tsp sea salt

pH 2.33

2 Oz honey syrup
10 Oz Azacca
10 Oz Cascade

Steeped at RT for 6 hours. Going in the right direction.

Hop Water. Batch One.

Recipe
5 gal RO
20g Azacca
20g Cascade
4oz fresh squeezed lime juice
1/2 tsp sea salt

Directions
Pour RO into bucket/fermenter
Add salt & lime juice
Put hops in bag & steep for six hours.
Dump in keg and pressurize.

Its definitely hoppy. Going to be very interesting to see if it's a dump batch or if it's drinkable.

Picture of hops because "brew day" was easier thank making cereal for breakfast.
