Looking for a fresh approach…Missouri's only Nascar Whelen All-American Series and active Asphalt Short-track, The Lebanon I-44 Speedway and General Manager Kevin Greven have parted company announced today by Speedway officials. Differential in goals between both parties was cited as the reason. Kevin really did an outstanding job in helping to get our program to grow during his time here, but the goals between both of us seemed to grow apart and with the time away from his family it took a toll on Kevin too, cited Speedway Officials.

Preparing for the 2017 season, Speedway officials are already planning exciting events for the drivers and fans with exciting announcements coming quickly. Opening date of April 29, 2017 has been set with scheduling under way for 18 events including some new special events.

The top drivers from the 2016 Nascar Whelen I-44 season will be honored on Saturday October 29th in Lebanon, Missouri at The Cowan Civic Center.

Beside the fact that Lebanon I-44 Speedway will be giving away 10’s of thousands of dollars during the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Awards Banquet on October 29th we wanted to give a little sneak peak of some of the other information that will be available during our celebration of 2016 at the Cowan Civic Center……..See you all in April of 2017 and please share with your racing family and friends!

Drivers, Crew, Employees and Fans: We are hoping that you will join us as we honor our Champions and other drivers. 2016 is a season to remember and we have some very deserving award winning drivers. The NASCAR Whelen All-American Series​ / Lebanon I-44 Speedway Awards Banquet will be held Saturday Oct. 29, 2016. Doors open at 6 pm. Dinner at 7 pm. The 2016 Banquet will be held at Kenneth Cowan Civic Center​ in Lebanon, Missouri​. Drivers that have raced a minimum of 4 events at Lebanon I-44 Speedway in the 2016 season will be invited free of charge and all other participants will be just $14.00. Dinner will be catered by Dickey's Barbecue Pit (Lebanon, MO)​. This will be Buffet Style with – Smoked Chicken, Brisket, along with sides (Potato Casserole, Green Beans, and Slaw), Rolls, Drinks (Tea, Coffee, and Water) and Dessert. No alcohol will be served. We will need to have your reservation by Oct. 20 and we hope that all drivers, crew, employees and fans will attend.
