Mixed Memories was nominated in the Best of the 207 awards… and we placed in all three categories!
As a fairly new business from a small town, this feels like such an incredible milestone. If you were scrolling through the nominees while voting, you probably saw just how many names were in each category — one of them had over 90 nominees alone! Seeing Mixed Memories listed among so many talented, well-established businesses was humbling enough… and then placing in the top three in all categories? Truly shocking.
Honestly, as such a little mobile bar, there were moments we felt like we didn’t even belong in these categories — But this recognition proves that even small businesses can make a big impact.
When I got the phone call, I was in complete disbelief. My first reaction was, “Really? Are you sure? Did you mean to call me?” It still doesn’t fully feel real.
More than anything, I just feel so incredibly grateful. Grateful for every single person who voted, shared, supported, booked, and believed in us. The support surrounding this business means more to me than I can even put into words.
Running a business isn’t easy. There are long days, late nights, and moments where you wonder if people truly see the work you’re putting in. This has been the biggest reminder that you do — and that support does not go unnoticed.
We are beyond thankful, deeply humbled, and so excited for what’s ahead.
