The Clover Club was a favorite, so replacing it wasn’t an easy decision.

We wanted to keep the gin sour and egg white combination, but try something a little different. French-style grenadine takes the place of raspberry, while a touch of apple brandy adds a little more depth.

We don’t know who invented it, but the Blood & Sand has been around since at least 1930.

Named after a 1922 silent film, it’s a scotch cocktail that has somehow stuck around for nearly a century. Ours is made with scotch, Carpano Antica, and a house cordial.
