A quick note for our new visitors and first-timers:

München Haus is a beer garden - not a sit-down restaurant. That means a few things, and we promise they're all good ones.

You order at the counter (no host stand, no wait to be seated). You grab a spot at one of our long picnic tables. And yeah - you might end up sharing that table with another party. That's not a bug, that's the whole point.

Some of the best dinner conversations of your life happen across a long wooden table with strangers who become friends by the second beer. It's how beer gardens have worked in Bavaria for centuries, and it's how we've done it on Front Street since 2001.

So if you're heading our way: come hungry, come open, and don't be surprised when the family across engages with cozy conversation. That's Gemütlichkeit. That's München Haus.

Night 2 of Summer Music Series tonight - Duane Harbick takes the garden from 6 to 9. 🎸

If you missed Seth Garrido last night, we're sorry, but here's your second chance to lock in your summer routine: grab a long-table seat, order something off the menu (might we suggest the Big Bob with Champagne Honey mustard?), and stay for the show. No cover. All ages welcome.

It's the first Tuesday of the month, which means tonight is Benevolent Night - and this one is a big one. 💛

We're proud to be supporting TWO incredible local organizations tonight: Tierra Learning Center and Upper Valley Connection. From 4 PM to close, 25% of all sales will be donated to support the work they do here in our community.

Tierra Learning Center is dedicated to person-centered support, dignity, and stewardship - creating welcoming spaces where all people can thrive.

Upper Valley Connection works to build an inclusive, compassionate community where people with special needs can connect, grow, and fully participate.

And here's the best part: BOTH partners will be on-site to answer questions, AND they're hosting BINGO from 6 to 8 PM. 🎉 Come for dinner, stay for bingo, leave knowing you helped two amazing organizations doing important work.

Our Summer Music Series kicks off this Wednesday - live music in the garden every Wed, Thu, and Fri evening from 6 to 9, all summer long. No cover. All ages welcome. Just bring an appetite and get ready to vibe.

This is one of our favorite traditions of the year. Local artists, long-table seating, a cold pour, a brat fresh off the grill, and the sun setting over Front Street. The whole reason we built a beer garden in the first place.

A little German vocab for your next visit to München Haus. 🍻

We get asked all the time how to pronounce things on our menu (and on our wall, and on the Maibaum down the street), so we figured we'd put together a quick cheat sheet. Swipe through for four words you'll hear pretty often around here - and bonus points if you actually use them.

No pressure to nail the pronunciation. Pam (one of our founders) is the daughter of German immigrants and still catches us slipping up here and there. The whole vibe at München Haus is Gemütlichkeit - that warm, cozy, welcoming feeling. So whether you say Prost perfectly or completely butcher it, we're just glad you're here.

One last Maifest weekend, and then we put her to bed until 2027.

If you've been thinking about coming down for it - this is the weekend. The garden is at its absolute peak, the team has Maifest Weekends 1 and 2 fully dialed in, the grill is running like a dream, and Saturday's forecast is looking like Bavarian-spring-perfect.

Doors Saturday at 11 (open till 10). Sunday at 11 (open till 9). Pro tip: try the Dirtyface Beer Wurst - it's made exclusively for us, infused with Icicle Brewing's Dirtyface Amber Lager. There's nowhere else on earth you can get it.

Grab a friend who hasn't been, pull up a long table, and let's send Maifest 2026 out the right way. We saved you a seat.

Meet Joe. 💛

He's been part of the München Haus family for four years now, and he ran our grill through every minute of Maifest. If you ordered a Big Bob on Saturday afternoon, came back for a Dirtyface Beer Wurst on Sunday, or sent your kids up for an Organic Beef Dog - odds are Joe's the one who made it.

The folks behind the grill are what make this place feel like home. They're prepping before we open, dialed in through the rush, and back at it the next morning with a smile. After 25 years of doing this, we've learned that the team really is the whole thing.

Next time you stop in, give Joe a wave. Tell him the brats are working.

Oma’s Weisswurst + Haus Party Hef (our Icicle Brewing Company anniversary collab) = Beer garden bliss.

Our weisswurst is rich, buttery, and delicately seasoned with a tender snap. The Haus Party Hef mirrors the softness while adding a bright, refreshing lift.
