Legend has it that when then owner wanted to start yet another business, his wife said he'd be in the dog house if he did. Sensing a great idea amidst a challenge, he decided to get the family dog involved as the mascot. That seemed to endear her to the idea and thus the Doghaus Brewery was born! Currently run by a staff of 2, brewing 5 bbl at a time, the hard-working dogs of Doghaus Brewery invite you down for a pint or flight....or both! And don't forget to fill a growler on the way out! Remember, if you ever get stuck in the dog house....come on down to the one that has beer on tap!

Our Thursday bartender is out sick has Brewer Joel has scheduled deliveries this evening. We will be open from 3pm to 5pm. Apologies for the inconvenience. Back tomorrow Friday 9/4 as usual from 12pm -9pm. (Here's a peek at the mezzanine area of other future tasting room as an apology)

BIG NEWS!

We've secured a new tasting room space on Front Street! 933 Front St. Suite D to be precise. Our new neighbors will be Patterson Cellars and The Fudge Hut. W**e, b**r, fudge....sounds like a party!

There's lots of work to do to get the space ready and our goal is opening by December if not sooner. Check out the photos for a peek at the current space. BIG NEWS!

We've secured a new tasting room space on Front Street! 933 Front St. Suite D to be precise. Our new neighbors will be Patterson Cellars and The Fudge Hut. W**e, b**r, fudge....sounds like a party!

August is nearly gone already! We've got a few things to to you...

1. We have a special taplist to start the weekend because it features the "The Golden Girls". Three b**rs named for three regular golden retrievers that are all half-sisters. Freya's Golden Ale, Eowyn's ESB, and Valkyrie's Vienna L***r!

2. Some fresh dahlias this weekend featuring: Zwink, Sandia Bertha, and Peaches 'N' Cream.

3. Four more discount dogs are on the run. See if you can find them and return them for a reward! Last weekend saw the first five returned dogs. (Edit: Bavarian lady standee found, Gustav's tree roots found

4. If you look closely at the first photo you might see a hint as to some upcoming big news...stay tuned!

We caught a bug! Of the insect variety...and the less fun stomach variety. Brewer Joel is taking a sick day and Bartender Ashly will be filling in but opening will be delayed as she is not available until approximately 2pm.

Our apologies for the delayed open today. Further updates will be added if there are significant delays beyond 2pm.

We just tapped our new Eowyn's ESB. ESB or Extra Special Bitter is a variety of English-style Pale Ale. A Little more malt character than American Pales and using English hops that give herbal, floral, and spice flavor tones. Eowyn's ESB completes the trio of related dogs/b**rs joining her half-sisters represented by Freya's Holden Ale and Valkyrie's Vienna L***r. All three on tap today!

Apparently we missed the commotion last night as a bolide (fireball meteor) streaked over the valley and exploded with tremendous flashes of light and a thunderous rumble!

Since we missed it Brewer Joel brought in the dahlia he thought most looked like an exploding meteor....Belle of Barmera. And he also brought a new batch of bierscuits for your furry friends. Stop by and have a brew today! **randdogs
