Le Mars Municipal Band The Le Mars Municipal Band puts on six concerts during the summer in Foster Park. This is the band's 118th season of free, public performances in the park!

The band is made up of professional and amateur musicians from the city of Le Mars and surrounding communities. The band presents 6 summer concerts during June and July at historical Foster Park. The concerts are free to the public courtesy of the City of Le Mars and friends and supporters of the band.

🇺🇸 Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday with the Le Mars Municipal Band! 🇺🇸

Join us this Saturday, July 4, at 7:30 p.m. for America 250, a patriotic evening of music celebrating the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States.

Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy this FREE community concert at Foster Park in Le Mars. The program features beloved patriotic favorites including The Star-Spangled Banner, Shenandoah, Irving Berlin: A Symphonic Portrait, America the Beautiful, Armed Forces Salute, and the iconic The Stars and Stripes Forever, along with other inspiring selections.
As we commemorate 250 years of our nation’s history, we invite you to gather with friends, family, and neighbors for an evening of music, community, and celebration.

As we close the books on Fiscal Year 2026, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to every individual, family, and business who supported the Le Mars Municipal Band this past year.

Because of your incredible generosity, we reached our full $7,500 matching contribution from the City of Le Mars! Your support ensures that our community band can continue providing free summer concerts for audiences of all ages.

July 1, marks the beginning of a new fiscal year, and our fundraising efforts begin again. Every gift—large or small—helps sustain the tradition of the Le Mars Municipal Band.
