Hot one today in Vegas. 110 felt the heat of the M8 114 of blue shark on left leg toady. Can not wait for my color matched Advanblack heat deflector to arrive. If that does not work going to get a custom leather one made.

Also be aware of those gel seat pads sitting in sun they will burn your butt. I always remove my buttbuffer gel pad when hot out.

Changing vest companies. I always go with Milwaukee leather. However, getting tired of their buttons breaking. Three vests now.

love the gun pockets. Don't like the holsters in them. To clumsy to get in and draw
Also do not like having to unbutton and unzip to get to pocket. Needs a faster access and kydex attachment to make better.So this is just used as my back up carry to my primary.

So trying first manufacturing leather vest. Perforated.

Luggage tests.
I have tested using saddlemans br3400. Worked great for week long travel and taking on plane. When I road from Vegas to MD to deliver a Suzuki 800 Blvd and to Alabama to deliver a Yamaha tracer. Plenty of storage and can lock the zippers. Can attach to seat or luggage track with or without sissy bar. I use mainly on my 2016 Indian dark horse.

I used a chopped tour pack from Amazon. When I road UT, Idaho, and Washington. Worked fantastic on my 21 Road Glide Special

I since upgraded to a color matched king tour pack from advanblack with light, and luggage rack and speaker pods.(have not decided speaker option yet). Have not yet tested but should work for those longer trips. Will be using a RickRack luggage attachment for the luggage rack on the tour pack for my cloths bag. Also inside the tour pack I have a kenimoto lid storage and a RickRack carry bag. Will test out this setup next year for my two or three week trip.

I am about to test the HD king size luggage rack with the RickRack attachment and NelsonRigg bag. I can pack a Week's worth of clothing, tennis shoes, leather jacket, chaps, travel pillow, light walk around jacket, extra ball cap and grooming supplies. I did not need to expand the bag. Have one large pocket left and plenty of lid storage if I like. Nice thing when I reach location unlock the bag and then carry in. Plus can be carried on plane.

I can say Amazon tour packs and attachments work great on Harley. look good. Hold up well. For a low cost.

Advanblack is great product and cost goes from mid to high depends on options. Color match is very nice. Lil cheaper them HD with same things.

RickRack is a great product. Easy on off. Lockable. If using Amazon luggage rack you must buy the RR ajustable rack. Pricy but worth it.

Product review time. I have been riding a bit with Milwaukee leather riding shirt. Great product. Road through rain and stayed a bit dry. Would not suggest heavy down pour for hours. But good for short rain time.

Been riding with Indian Ridge MC boots. Great boots. You can walk when reach destination and good for all day comfort. I have two pair. One vented and the other not. They are good. But rain will get in if heavy rain. So ride with rain boot cover. If light your feet will stay dry.

Both of these I will recommend.
