Unrelated to last nights event. We lost another friend Delbert Horsley. The viewing is scheduled for Thursday October 5th from 2-4 at Palms mortuary downtown. Afterwards will be a celebration of life at the Eagles on Washington.

Thank you all for the suggestions. We decided to go with Joe's Bar and Grill. The bar we are opening is the old Mulligan's Landing on Rancho. Our projected opening will be early 2018. We are excited about our new venture, seeing old friends and making new ones.

It has been a LONG 18 months but we are happy to announce that we are very close to finding our new bar... and we wanted to get everyone's input on the name. The 2 on the top of the list are Joe's Bar & Grill or Juniors Bar & Grill. Let us know what you think or if you have any other ideas, we would love to hear them

We are sad to say we lost our amazing friend today. Jerry you will be forever missed. In his honor we will be meeting at Stateside lounge (931 N. Las Vegas Blvd) on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at noon to have a drink to celebrate Jerry's life.

We'd like to thank everyone who made it last Saturday to our farewell party. Especially those who made a special trip from out of town, Natalie, Vic, Chuck, Sam... We are grateful to have so many amazing friends.
We look forward to our future adventures and will let everyone know as soon as we find THE bar

I am overwhelmed by all the calls and messages I've received. I want to thank everyone for their kind words. It really means a lot to me.

I'd like to clarify a couple things. First, the reason why we are closing is because the company that bought the property wants to go in a different direction. They are converting the hotel over to a drug and alcohol recovery center. Secondly, I am not done with the bar business. I am currently looking for another bar to open. As soon as I find it I will let everyone know. Stay tuned!

It is with a heavy heart that this day has come. After 17+ years La Piazza will be closing its doors on February 8, 2016. I want to thank everyone that has walked through these doors. La Piazza would not be the same without you. I have been very fortunate to have been a part of something so special and getting to know so many good friends that I now consider family.

I want to thank all of my employees, past and present, for all of your hard work. You are the ones that made La Piazza a "FAMILY". I leave here with so many good memories and stories that I will cherish forever!!!

A special THANK YOU to my Mom and Dad for giving me this amazing opportunity.
