It is with great sadness that I announce the sudden and unexpected passing of my beloved brother James. Many of you might remember him from our original location of Viva Mercado’s on Flamingo & Jones. James was an integral part of the business and our family. He will be missed immensely. If you are able, our family would greatly appreciate any donations at this time to cover funeral expenses.

DEAR VALUED CUSTOMERS, UNFORTUNATELY WE HAVE COME TO THE DIFFICULT DECISION TO CLOSE OUR DOORS AFTER 34 YEARS. THE COVID CRISIS AND YEARS FOLLOWING 2020 COUPLED WITH A DEVASTATINGLY SLOW SUMMER SEASON THIS PAST YEAR PUT THE BUSINESS IN A POSITION WE ULTIMATELY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO OVERCOME. WE DID EVERYTHING IN OUR POWER TO KEEP SERVING YOU. WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK OUR INCREDIBLE STAFF FOR ALL OF THEIR HARD WORK.
