Tom Hardy is one of the most intense actors in Hollywood. He’s played Bane in The Dark Knight Rises, Max in Mad Max: Fury Road, and Eddie Brock in the Venom trilogy. On screen, he embodies chaos and violence. Off screen, he’s one of the most private celebrities in the industry, rarely doing press and largely avoiding social media.

A quote widely attributed to him online says that sitting at home alone in peace, eating snacks, and having no drama is one of life’s greatest luxuries. Whether or not those are his exact words, the sentiment clearly struck a nerve. The post has been shared millions of times across platforms.

It resonates because most people quietly agree. The older you get, the more you realize that peace isn’t boring—it’s valuable.

What looks like a futuristic art piece is actually a critique of modern surveillance. The mask is designed to confuse AI facial recognition systems while remaining visually transparent to the human eye.

Facial recognition relies on detecting consistent geometric features such as eye spacing, contours, and symmetry. By fragmenting and refracting these features, the mask disrupts how algorithms map a face.

Projects like this highlight a growing tension between privacy and surveillance technology. As cameras and AI systems become more widespread, designers and researchers are exploring countermeasures that expose their limitations.

It’s important to note that many of these concepts are experimental and may not defeat all recognition systems in real-world conditions. Different algorithms, lighting environments, and camera qualities can still affect results.

Still, the mask sparks a larger conversation about consent, digital identity, and how much control individuals should have over how they’re tracked in public spaces.

BREAKING: President Donald Trump signed an executive order Dec. 18 to federally classify ma*****na as a less dangerous substance, the biggest change for the drug since 1970 and an opportunity for the industry to operate more easily.

Trump’s order would stop classifying ma*****na as a Schedule I drug, which includes the most dangerous substances such as he**in, L*D and ecstasy. The Drug Enforcement Administration describes Schedule I substances as having no "medical use and a high potential for abuse."

Instead, Trump ordered that ma*****na be classified as a Schedule III drug, which the DEA describes as having "a moderate to low potential for physical and psychological dependence."
