First we at the Blue Moon Bar (Crissy, Evelyn, David, Rockin Robbin, the bands, and myself) would like to thank the community for their outcry of support. We are very proud of the work we have done in the community. It is unfortunate that I feel that I need to respond to the few that are deliberately making this transition difficult.

The business this last winter, unfortunately, could not support the rent that was agreed to when I took the bar over. I tried to work with the lessor to keep the bar going, and a business decision was made on his part to close the bar. I think it’s unfortunate that he was not willing to try work out our differences over the rent. However, this was a business decision and nothing more. As of last night I was asked to have his handyman come by early next week and nail shut the doors. I would love to know that all of the bands, shows, and bartenders could continue working at the Blue Moon. What’s good for the Moon is good for the community! At this time I have been informed that it will not happen.

Whatever happens after Monday is out of my hands so come on out and help me send off the Moon in style! Thanks again for all your support!

The Blue Moon will be closing it's doors after this weekend... so let's go out with a bang! We have a great lineup for our last weekend:
Thurs: Karaoke and Potluck with Rockin Robbin
Fri: Derrick Harris Band
Sat: Bourbon Legend (11:30a-3:30p) and Saturday Nite Special (8p-midnight)
Sun: Everett Howl (12:30-2:30) and CW Ayon (3p-7p)

Hi everyone. I'm very sorry to let you know that the Blue Moon will be closing after this Sunday. I'm still trying to contact all the bands and people involved with the bar to let them know personally, but since I know there's already rumors going around, I wanted to go ahead an make an initial announcement. We will be open through the weekend with Derrick Harris Band Friday night, a bike run stopping Saturday afternoon with music by Bourbon Legend (11:30a-3:30p), Saturday Nite Special on Saturday night, and a big going-out-with-a-bang Sunday on the patio featuring Everett Howl and CW Ayon. We are so disappointed to have to close the bar, and we thank you all for the support and love you've shown us.

Landon's Run will be happening July 25th, so mark your calendars. They are still looking for donations and need a couple...
