It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of Damir Maksutov. He had been battling stage 4 liver, lung and esophagus cancer, and as of yesterday (August 29, 2019) he had lost the fight. For those of you who hadn't known, Damir was the reason 440 had started the shows in the first place. It took him walking into that bar and striking a conversation with one of the bartenders about how he could fill the bar of they would allow for the shows to start there. As for me, those shows started alot of friendships and wonderful memories. If it wasnt for those shows I would have never been introduced to the local metal community. Fly high Damir, you were loved by many and will be missed as well. 🤘🖤 -CMW
