The Grizzly Bar & Grill has always been more than a business. It’s a community hub — where friends gather, artists perform, and locals unwind after long days of hard work. But right now, that spirit is under siege.

We’re locked in a legal battle against a landlord whose actions have gone too far — shutting down operations, cutting off essential utilities, and sabotaging the very livelihood of this small-town bar.

We’re defending our rights and our investment against what we believe are unfair, unethical, and retaliatory tactics. Recently, the landlords shut down refrigeration in the bar area, destroying hundreds of dollars in beer and food inventory and forcing us into an operational standstill.

This reckless action didn’t just waste product — it shut down revenue entirely, even though there was no legal or moral justification for such an extreme move.

While the case drags through the courts, we’re left with mounting losses, ruined inventory, overdue annual fees, and staff members on payroll who now need temporary support just to get by.

Missing a good old Bloody mary Sunday today! I hope everyone is doing well. We are still fighting the good fight even though it seems the wheels of the court couldnt turn much slower. We will keep you posted as things progress. Again we thank everyone who has supported us. And to those of you who seem to think the Grizzly should be shut down. I pray you never got to experience the stress of having you livelihood put in jeopardy by false promises and accusations. Lander night life aint the same without us and everyone knows it. Last year, Halloween at The Grizzly was one of our biggest nights — candy for the kids, costumes, laughter, and memories we’ll never forget.

This year, our doors are dark… and our hearts are heavy.
We should be there with you — but instead, we’re fighting to keep The Grizzly alive.

We’re not broken. We’re battle-tested.
