Save the date! 🗓 The 21st Corvette Gathering is happening on September 13, 2026, on Main Street. You know we love an opportunity to walk down Main Street with no traffic!

There is no charge for spectators, and many businesses, shops, restaurants, and museums will be open. The show is from 10:00 am–3:00 pm, but show up early and take in the sights as the Corvettes get situated. Interested in being a part of the show? Each participant receives a commemorative piece (not just a dash plaque), and registration is only $20.

To sign up to participate with your Corvette or for more information, view the event listing on our Community Calendar or call Karen Singer at (740) 681-1234.

Please note that beginning June 3rd, the 100 blocks of East and West Chestnut Street will be changed to one-way traffic traveling westbound. A three-way stop will be installed at the intersection of High and Chestnut, and westbound one-way only traffic will occur on Columbus Street. 🛑

This change is driven by safety and will create a three-way stop at the corner of High and Chestnut, where frequent crashes and near misses occur. At DDL, we originally thought, "Why not a four-way stop and keep it two-way?" We learned from the city that the incline on Chestnut is far steeper than on Main Street, and it could cause more safety issues with cars/trucks rolling back. This traffic pattern change will increase the safety of pedestrians and drivers while also adding parking spaces in the downtown area.

Drivers, please use caution in the weeks following this change as traffic patterns adjust. Please pay close attention to posted signage and be mindful of other drivers, pedestrians, and parked vehicles.
