To the lovers planning a wedding right now,
Don't get caught up in what it's "supposed" to look like.
Don't let the noise drown out what feels like you.
And don't forget that the most beautiful weddings aren't the biggest... they're the most intentional.
The ones where every detail feels personal.
Where the people in the room truly matter.
Where the vows feel sacred and the laughter feels easy.
This right here, I got to witness a reminder of that.
Emily & Jason invited everyone to what they thought was an engagement party... and surprised them with a wedding!
It was intimate.
It was intentional.
It was SO much fun.
It felt exactly like them.
And standing up there, as her best friend of over 20+ years and as their officiant— was something I will carry for the rest of my life.
Em, you didn't just plan a wedding.
You created a moment that reflected your heart.
Mr. & Mrs. Broadt, your love is steady, joyful, and deeply rooted. The way you look at each other says everything. I am so proud of the life you're building and so grateful I got a front row seat to the beginning of this chapter.
