LVT is canceled this week. I went to the hospital today and discovered I have the flu and I'm just insanely ill, so please do not show up. I'm sorry but it would be irresponsible of me to do comedy when I'm in no condition to do so.

Marla Eyvette's birthday is this Thursday, and she wants to have a toast at midnight to ring in her 21st birthday (for the 15th time, hahaha)

There will be snacks, cupcakes, and maybe even a champagne toast at midnight. That sounds fun, really.

Several comics are doing an extended set so it should be a blast.

So why not come through and remind your esteemed host about how old she's getting?

She's so old, she knows what floppy disks are, has used a rotary phone, and still remembers her AIM screen-name. Holy Christ that's old haha

Super excited that Zach Welch will be handling hosting duties while Marla Eyvette takes a sabbatical for the next few weeks to rest from the Sixth City Comedy Festival and to prepare for an upcoming surgery.

Tonight, we're kicking off the 3rd Annual Sixth City Comedy Festival with with a meet-and-greet/open mic party at Lakewood Village Tavern, home of The Village Idiot, Cleveland's longest running open mic!

Hosted by the always reliable MARLA EYVETTE MASSIE, the first half of the show will feature hilarious standup by JADE ESTEBAN ESTRADA, MOE SINGLETON, SCOTT II, STACEY AXLER, and VICTOR PAREDES.

The second half of the show will be open to all who wish to perform.

Seated is limited so get here early! You don't wanna miss THE comedy event of the year!
