🧵🌸 COAT OF MANY COLORS 🌼🪡

Running for one more week because it means a little more to us than most. ❤️

Dolly was something of a constant around Revival way back when... Jeannie absolutely adored her, and many of us did too. Over the years, blasting Dolly through the speakers during early morning bar cleans together, 9 to 5 references, stories, and so many Dolly-related gifts given back and forth became another piece of the our magic fabric around here.

So in bidding farewell to beloved Dolly, we had to raise a glass of our own.

Coat of Many Colors is a clarified Tennessee whiskey sour milk punch composed of
-Jack Daniels Bonded
-Green Brier Sour Mash
-Lairds Bonded Apple Brandy
-Fresh apple, pear, and citrus juices
-Chamomile honey reduction
-Southern Amaro
-Heirloom Creme de Flora
with touches of almond, blackberry, rose, peychaud’s, and soft botanicals. Shaken like a sour and dressed in little patches of color.

It’s orchard-fruit forward. A little bit floral. Slightly sweet on the front and a little bitter on the finish. Simultaneously soft and bold. Tender and strong.
Made from a whole bunch of different pieces that somehow belong together.

We’ll serve this tribute for one more week, with a whole lot of love for Dolly, Jeannie and each other — those who showed us how to love even more.

🪑🌿SCREEN DOOR SAINT🍑🌅

Originally our for Fourth of July weekend slip, this poor thing was all dressed up with nowhere to go when our A/C took us out of commission.

But you can’t keep a good saint down, and this one has a second coming.

Bourbon, oversteeped Ceylon and English breakfast tea, lemons and peaches, layered with summer berries, vanilla bean and to***co bitters. Built for long afternoons, screen doored porches and the last stretch of a southern summer.

Tomorrow, Revival TURNS 8 ❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕

This weekend, eight years ago, Revival opened its doors and poured its first Old Fashioned.

What started as one person’s dream has grown into something so much bigger than anyone could have imagined.. Through hundreds of thousands of cocktails, countless conversations, ecstatic celebrations, first dates, heartaches, late nights, reunions and lifelong bonds, this little bar in Lakeland has become a second home for so many of us.

And we’d love nothing more than to celebrate that with all of you. This Friday.

We’re calling it The Grateful 8 because that’s exactly what we are.

Grateful to Jeannie for dreaming this place into existence.

Grateful to every staff member, past and present, who’s scraped their knuckles and poured their heart into this.

Grateful to our neighbors and fellow small businesses.

Grateful to be doing this.

Most of all, we’re grateful to anyone who’s ever pulled up a barstool, brought friends and family, celebrated achievements, or chosen to spend any old evening with us.

Well… this hurts. But sometimes the only thing you can do is lock up and wait for Monday.

Our A/C decided this was the weekend to call it quits, and with the holiday weekend we won’t be able to get it repaired until then…

So unfortunately we’ll be closed through the weekend.

We hate to miss out and will definitely miss seeing y’all, but we hope you have a fun and safe Fourth.
Stay cool out there 🥵 and enjoy the quality time with friends and family. If you’re out downtown, show our neighbors a little extra love for us. We’ll be thinking about ya and looking forward to unlocking this door again soon. ❤️🙏

🥃🥧 APPLE PIE OLD FASHIONED🧺🎇

We can’t think of two flavors more classically American than whiskey and apple pie.
So naturally, we get carried away 🤠

-Buffalo Trace, brown butter fat-washed
-Copper & Kings Kentucky Apple Brandy, infused with graham crackers
-apple pie syrup made of slow-reduced cider, poached homeycrisps and granny smiths, brown cane sugar, tons of baking spices, and pie crust.

The result tastes just like what you’d imagine that quintessential warm apple pie cooling on a windowsill does… while undeniably still drinking like a proper Old Fashioned.

Rich. Buttery. Apple-forward. Spiced. Dangerous.

Patriotic, even.
