It’s a beautiful Friday, the sun’s out, we have delicious food, glorious beer, a wonderful patio, friendly barkeeeps, and school’s almost out for summer/forever. But hey, maybe you’re looking for one more reason to swing by today.

Ok here goes.

We were featured in last fall’s Brewing Industry Guide from for an article about the art and science of pouring beer. If you missed it, it details the many methods brewers can employ to ensure the very best experience when it comes to draught beer. We not only use specific glassware suited to the styles we offer, but unique equipment for their dispense as well - things like Lukr side pulls, Japanese sharp pour faucets, and authentic British beer engines.

There’s a time and a place for drinking from a can. But to enjoy a well-crafted beer at the pinnacle of aroma and flavor, only the intentionality and care that goes into proper service will suffice. It really makes a difference!

We finished up a big week at the brewery just in time for the holiday weekend and summer’s unofficial kickoff. Drop by RTB and enjoy fresh pours (and cans!) of Rice lager, Sunwork Kölsch, and Falcons Cannot Hear, our double hazy.

Grab a pie, a smashie, or a gourmet Chicago dog to accompany your libation of choice and you’ll be living large. Hard work is only part of a life well lived - enjoying well-deserved R&R with friends and family completes the equation. We’re brewing another batch of Tuba Solo right now, but as soon as we’re done, it’ll be time to lean into the weekend.

Noon can’t get here soon enough - we’ll see you at the taproom!

Another big canning day for us at the brewery results in freshly packaged Rice lager, a new batch of Sunwork Kölsch, an extra-fantastic collaboration beer to look forward to when it’s released (soon), and the return of Falcons Cannot Hear, our double hazy IPA.

If you’re a fan of massively hop-saturated haze, join us today when we open at 4. This beer is sticky with hop oils from the overdetermined bill of Galaxy, Nectaron, and Citra we used from kettle to fermentor to brite tank. This beer is the freshest we’ve ever released, only one day out of the fermentor, and it’s just humming with passion fruit, pineapple, and a pleasant hint of cannabis that keeps it grounded. But it’s the mouthfeel that takes it to another level - a feedback loop of hop distortion that coats the palate!

It’s American Craft Beer Week, and we had a chance to share our story with the nice folks at on Mother’s Day.

As one of 300 small, independent brewers in Illinois, we celebrate great beer and food in a comfortable, family-friendly space that’s basically a home away from home for our customers. Craft beer is more than just a beverage - at its best, it’s a catalyst for community, camaraderie, and the simple pleasures of social life. Spring Fest at RTB!

Just in time for the beginning of patio season, like it’s all part of the master plan!

Join us this Saturday for fun in (hopefully) the sun. We’ll have special beers, a special cookout menu, glitter tattoos for the kids, co****le, music, giveaways, and a dog adoption event featuring all whirling about in our new and improved Biergarten.
