As some of you may have heard, The Beach Club is facing a challenge that’s becoming all too common for longtime spots here in Palm Beach County. We’ve been given less than a one year lease while the future of the space remains uncertain.
The owner, Mitch Reale, built The Beach Club on strong, familiar values. After more than 30 years with ER Bradley’s, he set out to create something that carried that same spirit. A place rooted in community, consistency, and genuine hospitality. That vision has shaped The Beach Club from the very beginning.
Over the years, we’ve taken pride in creating something that feels like home. What began as a small golf course restaurant in Lake Worth has grown into a place where staff and guests truly become family. We’ve watched kids who once came to our family nights grow up and return for their very first jobs. We’ve had the honor of being part of weddings, birthdays, baby showers, and we’ve also been there for life’s more difficult moments, offering a space to come together and find comfort.
So much around us is changing. Familiar places are disappearing, and the pace of growth can make everything feel a little less personal. When the time comes, spaces like this can easily be taken over and reshaped by outside investors, turning something once full of comfort and familiarity into something unknown. Through all of that, we’ve tried to remain something steady. A place you can count on. A place that still feels like old Florida, where you’re greeted by a familiar face and things feel simple, welcoming, and reasonable.
At times like these, it reminds us how important community really is. It’s when we need to come together and support one another more than ever.
This isn’t the end of the story. Nothing is final yet. For now, the best way to support us is by signing our petition. Stay tuned for updates and additional ways to help. ❤️
