We cannot believe this! Another huge milestone and a first for Wandering Taps.

We’ve been named a Top 5 Finalist in the 2026 PNW Weddings Excellence Awards! Out of 12,000 nominations across the Pacific Northwest, Wandering Taps was nominated in not one but TWO categories: Bartending + Mobile Bar.

It’s Try It Tuesday with Wandering Taps and today Tyler giving the Roll Dog Amber from Second Rodeo Brewing down in Fort Worth a go.

If you love a well-balanced amber, this one hits that sweet spot. Smooth malt character, a little caramel warmth, and just enough hop presence to keep it crisp and drinkable. It’s the kind of beer that reminds us why amber ales are a staple style at great breweries.

One thing we love about what we do at Wandering Taps is getting to explore beers from breweries all over the country. From local Washington favorites to standout pours from places like Texas, we’re always tasting, learning, and bringing that passion for craft beverages to the events we serve.

It’s over here and Tyler grabbed the M-Bison Mexican Dark Lager from Logan Brewing Company and we are not mad about it.

This Mexican-style dark lager pours deep amber with rich, toasty malt character, subtle caramel notes, and that clean, crisp finish you want in a well-executed lager. It’s smooth, balanced, and ridiculously drinkable — the kind of beer that makes you pause and go, “Okay… that’s solid.”

We love featuring breweries that dial in technical precision while still making something approachable for any crowd. This one would absolutely crush at a wedding taco bar, corporate fiesta, or backyard summer party.
