🏆 THE ABC OPEN IS COMING TO PALAZZO DI BOCCE! 🏆

Next week, Palazzo di Bocce will welcome more than 80 teams from coast to coast for the 6th Annual ABC Open — three full days of fierce competition, close finishes, and some of the best bocce in the country!

From September 10–12, watch teams battle through Gold & Silver divisions, group play, elimination brackets, and a skills challenge, with cash prizes, team gifts, and enhanced multi-camera coverage of the finals.

A permanent fixture is someone who feels like they’ve always been part of the place—and that is exactly what Sal and Domenica are to us!

We are beyond thrilled to honor them as Palazzo’s Honorary Players. This incredible husband-and-wife duo gave it their all and were just crowned the 2026 Summer League Champions! 🏆

What a year they’ve had! If you spend any time at Palazzo, you know we’re always talking about how often we see them here. They truly have become part of the fabric of our club.

Meet Brendan, a supported employee at Palazzo di Bocce in Lake Orion!

Brendan helps prepare the restaurant for the day by completing a variety of cleaning tasks. He also has the important job of turning on the music, which helps set the tone for everyone who walks through the doors!

Shifting the Focus: Effort Over Outcome!

It’s completely natural to feel disappointed after a tough loss's that’s just part of being a competitor. But here at Palazzo, we like to measure success a little differently.

Instead of focusing on the final scoreboard, our favorite moments are the ones filled with pure joy, determination, and teamwork.

Our incredible Spring 2026 team may not have walked away with a championship title, but they won something much better: a genuine love for the game. Watching them play with so much heart and enjoy every single second on the field has been the absolute highlight of our season.
The best part? They aren't done yet! They’ve already signed up and are ready to bring that amazing energy to our Summer leagues.
We wanted to celebrate their fantastic spirit with a little surprise gift and as you can see, the smiles on their faces tell the whole story!

Thank you for reminding us all why we play. We can't wait to watch you shine this summer!

Sharing the love of the game!

Reaching out to the senior community is second nature to us, so we were absolutely thrilled to be welcomed by StoryPoint to introduce bocce to their wonderful residents!

Why do we do this? Just take a look at StoryPoint’s own philosophy—they beautifully list all the reasons why staying active, social, and sharp is so important. Bocce checks every single one of those boxes (plus, it's just incredibly fun!).

A massive congratulations to Sal and Domenica—Palazzo’s true dynamic duo. 🎉
Winning both the Morning and Evening Spring leagues in the same year is no small feat. It sounds like Sal was on an absolute tear this season with Tony in the mornings, and capping it off with an Evening league victory alongside Domenica is the ultimate icing on the cake.
You nailed it: practice, consistency, and a love for the game clearly pay off.

It’s players like Sal and Domenica who truly build the culture and community at a place like Palazzo di Bocce. Here’s to many more frames, great rolls, and future championships for Palazzo’s besties!
