I regret to announce the passing of Ed Bridge Jr. last night (June 16, 2024). There are no funeral announcements to make at this time but I will update when we get them. Condolences to his son John, wife Bubba and little brother Jerry. Uncle Ed is dearly missed.

Fun Fact: Irene Eithier (Bridge) raised in the town of Blueberry. Met her husband Ed Bridge in Detroit,MI. They married and eventually moved to Lake Nebagamon and opened Bridge's Indianhead Tavern. Irene arrived first and was eventually followed by husband Ed. When they first arrived they did not have a toilet in their home at the top of the hill until Grandpa Ed Bridge put in, one of the first, in the town.

Fun Fact: Back in the Day when people didn't go to the dentist they simply came to Bridge's and after a few shots, Grandpa Ed Bridge just took a pliers and pulled the offending tooth. It was a common practice though some were suspected of just going that extra mile for a few free shots :)

Fun Fact: Bridge's Bar used to be a natural wood color inside & out. It was painted black on the outside, in the early 80's by Jerry Bridge.

Fun Fact: the brownish color of the logs inside of Bridge's Bar is NOT it's natural color. It's due to years of cigarette smoke that stained the logs that color.

Fun Fact: Moving the shuffleboard from the lake side of the bar to the other took 8 grown men to lift the board over the bar to the other side...there used to be 2 shuffleboards
in the day.

Fun fact: The original portion of the Bridge's Bar was once The Indianhead Cafe/ Restaurant. Hence the title of the bar formerly known as Bridge's Indianhead Tavern. Grandma and Grandpa Irene & Ed Bridge added to the building. (The pool table side).
