It’s been a sweet (and very hot, yes 🥵) day of music, 25 amazing arts vendors, delicious food and refreshing drinks, and heartfelt remarks from community members on what Pride means to them. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤🤎🤍 Next weekend, it’s the Pride Festival at Grey Hawk, the second year of the only large-scale Pride event in Rutherford County, North Carolina – and it’s going to be so fun! Make a weekend out of it by joining for Open Mic Night Weds 6-8pm or The Friday Hoedown Line-Dancing Friday 8-10pm, and get the full Grey Hawk experience Thursday, Friday and Sunday for seated service (be sure to make a reservation at www.greyhawklakelure.com/reserve).

On Saturday there will be info and resources from our amazing community partners, PFLAG Asheville and Campaign for Southern Equality, plus 20+ vendors (‼️), amazing musicians, and a Pride Showcase featuring drag, belly dance, and burlesque! Rainbow themed drinks, delicious food, and remarks from community members about what Pride means to them.

Make a plan to join us and get all of the details at www.greyhawklakelure.com/pride. We know that there’s a bit of a scary forecast, but rest assured we bought extra tents, and no one’s gonna rain on this parade (or whatever, maybe they will, but we’ll make it through!). Festival is rain or shine.

🌼🌱 Hey y'all – We’re still a few days away from the official start of summer – and we’ve already seen a preview of what the seasonal surge could look like – with lots of visitors excited to dine at Grey Hawk. Thank you for all of your support. 💛 We want to take an intentional approach to managing our growth and maintaining our high standards for quality service and experience.

That means we must put limitations on how many guests we are able to serve. The best way to secure your seat this summer is by making a reservation – at any time, for any size party. You can make a reservation at www.greyhawklakelure.com/reserve

It’s been tough for us to have to turn away familiar faces of regular guests – because we love having you here. But we’ve seen what happens when we stretch beyond our capacity and try to accommodate all walk-ups – it’s not fun for anyone and cuts into the peaceful space that we aspire to provide.

We always prioritize our reservations, and there is usually day-of availability. When possible, we will offer a waiting list with an estimated wait time – but on exceptionally busy days, we may be forced to stop taking walk-ins. We’re sorry for any inconveniences or frustrations that can cause.

We understand that it may seem like there are open tables or that you should be able to go up to the bar and get a drink. But there will be times that we’re just simply at operating capacity, with our bar team unable to take walk-ups while also providing drinks for seated guests.

If you choose not to make a reservation, please see the host at the host stand so we can share what is possible in real time, knowing that what’s possible may be different from day to day.
