Many people have expressed their excitement for the weekend! We've had inquiries regarding hours and menus. We pieced together some new dishes and some of your favorites. We also expanded on our hours. Stop in to see us one last time...

Lunch/Dinner:

Friday: 5pm - 9pm
Saturday: 12pm - 9pm
Sunday: 12pm - 9pm

The 1892 Bar & Grille, in operation for nearly a decade, will officially close for business in the coming days. We make this announcement with a heavy heart as "1892" has become a special place for us and so many of you. Employing reliable kitchen staff has proven to be an insurmountable task in a world where loyalty and hard work has become scarce.

To all our patrons and former staff, we cannot thank you enough. It has been a wild and, at times, peculiar ride with all of you. We learned so many new things and made some great friends along the way. We wouldn't change this experience in any way, shape or form and please know we did everything in our power to keep our doors open!

In order to properly say goodbye to all the people who kept us in operation for so long, we will open for our final weekend on 4/24 - 4/26. During this window, we will offer deeply discounted beverages and food. We will have a very limited menu which will evolve as we phase items out. This will be carried out by family and a few of your favorite staff members so swing on in!

Hours:

Friday (4/24): 5p-9p
Saturday (4/25): 12p-9p
Sunday (4/26): 12p-9p

*Sunday brunch is possible if we can put it together in time. Maybe one last chance at Ali's incredible menu!

*We have some t-shirts and other small items that will be sold at a significant discount.

The 1892 Bar & Grille will remain on a modified schedule through the remainder of April while we work on a new menu and prepare for the summer season. We intend to resume regular hours by 5/1 with a refreshed approach. We have had many requests for breakfast hours. Stay tuned for pop-up dates as we navigate April!

As the winter comes to a close and we prepare for spring break, we will be operating on a condensed menu to limit food waste. This week, expect some of your favorites with a few specials added, including the Cuban dishes that were prepared by Ivon.

We will be open for only dinner this week:

Monday- 5-9pm
Thursday- 5-9pm
Friday- 5-9pm

We’re underway and already seeing a ton of support for these girls! Get out to 1892 for a fun afternoon or evening. What else are you going to do on this rainy day? Let’s send the Blades off to Michigan knowing the community is behind them!

Join us this Sunday in supporting the 14U Canton Blades Hockey Team as they head to the USA Hockey National Championships! This is an incredible achievement by an amazing group of hard-working and talented young ladies.

Massive expenses are involved in getting an entire team to the Detroit, Michigan area, in addition to lodging and dining for nearly a week.

The 1892 Bar & Grille is committed to donating twenty-five percent of all sales from 12pm through close! Who wants to cook on Sunday anyway? Come have dinner and drinks with us and get involved in a fun way to support our local youth athletes!

The 1892 Bar & Grille will be sponsoring a cocktail (still perfecting) with all proceeds going to the Canton Blades. Additionally, there will be raffles and other fun ways to donate and win!

These girls have worked incredibly hard to make it to the national stage now let’s show them how much our amazing community supports them!

Come join us on Saturday for authentic Cuban Specials served by two amazing chefs! Ivon was born in Havana, Cuba and attended Asociacion Culinaria De Mayabque. Alex was raised in Eastern Cuba with traditional home cooking. Together, they will be preparing two traditional Cuban meals. Ropas Viejas and Fricassee.

These two specials will be served along with our regular menu on Saturday, March 21st.

Join us on 3/22 for homemade pancakes, thick-cut brioche french toast, loaded omelettes, hash, homemade bagels, and fresh local yogurt.
Can’t make it for breakfast? Come for lunch or dinner to support the Canton Blades Hockey Team. Local girls from Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, and Tupper Lake are members of this team and will be traveling to the National Championship in Michigan. A portion of all sales will be donated to the Blades in order to help offset the travel expenses. Let’s go Blades!
