The sign is up.

After months of planning, construction, problem-solving, and more than a few late nights, seeing our name on the building feels pretty special.

There’s still work to do, but we’re getting closer every day. We can’t wait to share what we’ve been building with the Lake City community and everyone who visits our corner of the San Juans.

Big week at The Bar at CLIMB 🤠

Windows are in, electrical inspection is officially passed ✅, walls are starting to close up, the new CLIMB deck is coming together, and we’re now getting ready for equipment delivery on Monday.

Seeing this place finally start to transform from framing and chaos into an actual restaurant has been incredibly rewarding. Every beam, wall, wire, and board gets us one step closer to opening the doors.

This project has tested us in every possible way, but we’re proud of how far it’s come — and even more excited for what it’s going to become.

Soon this space will be filled with:
🍕 Pizza from our Italian-crafted, American-made oven
🍸 Cocktails & cold beer
🌄 Mountain views
🐶 A dog-friendly patio
🔥 And a whole new experience for Lake City

We got our hands dirty this past week learning the craft behind the ovens that will power The Bar —and leveling up our pizza game alongside some of the best.

We had the privilege of learning from maestros Enzo Coccia and Giuliano Adriani, diving deep into what makes true pizza… true.

Every brick. Every layer. Every detail matters.

These aren’t just any bricks — they’re made from ash of Mount Vesuvius, sourced from the region of Naples, Italy, built to handle extreme heat and create the kind of fire that defines authentic pizza.

We’re not cutting corners. We’re doing it right.
