There are a lot of people that make up the Lunaverse, and most of you won’t ever meet all of them. Bird (Jolie) is one of those people you might not cross paths with often, but who still plays a big role in the flow of things.
She has been with us at Luna Bar & Grill South for about five months, working the salad, sandwich, and grill stations while balancing culinary school. She also helps out occasionally with volunteer cooking classes through the LSU Ag office in Cameron Parish.
Her current go-to on the menu is the Anthony Bourdain salad with spring mix, light goat cheese and chicken, extra bacon vinaigrette, bacon bits, and pecans.
Outside of work and school, she’s usually reading, writing, or crafting, including making personalized sock monkeys for friends and family. Her music taste ranges from Tupac and Freddie Mercury to Chappell Roan and Fleetwood Mac.
When she’s not here, you’ll usually find her at Books-A-Million.
