As we begin the final couple days at Lafayette Brewing Company, we want to give thanks to everyone who has come out and supported us over these last few weeks. It's been emotional but so great seeing old and familiar faces stopping in for the last time. And a HUGE thank you to our wonderful staff for sticking it out until the end. You all are what makes LBC what it has been known and loved for. We'll be open normal hours Friday and Saturday, but may be running out of items. Last day of operations will be Saturday, December 20th. Thank you all for your support! Cheers 🍻 ❤️

It is with great sadness that we must announce our pending closing. After 32 years as one of Indiana’s first brewpubs and Tippecanoe County’s original craft brewery, Lafayette Brewing Co will be closing our doors at the end of business on Saturday, December 20. We are humbled and honored by the support shown by the Greater Lafayette community over the past 32 years. In 1993, the idea of a small, local brewery was nearly unimaginable to most people, yet the concept spread across the nation, and showcased the value these small breweries added to their local communities. We are honored by the small role we could play in craft beer’s uprising, and more importantly, the role we played in our community. Downtown Lafayette has made a stunning transformation over the past 3 decades- evolving from a Main St with every other building vacant into the vibrant and bustling model downtown we have today. We hope our little brewery on Main St helped play a small part in that development. We are also immensely proud and grateful for the group of folks who passed through our doors as team members over the years. We count them as part of our family and wish them only the best. They also spawned a pretty sizable extended LBC family along the way! And finally, a big “CHEERS!” to everyone who stopped in over the years to enjoy a pint, a meal, live music, a Winter Warmer or just good conversation. To all those who made it possible for us to live our dream, we send much love! Greg & Nancy Emig

Weekend specials are here, and the lineup is looking solid from start to finish. Here’s what we’re cooking up:

Shrimp & Andouille Brochettes – Four skewers of jumbo shrimp wrapped around andouille sausage, tossed in Korean barbecue sauce and served over cabbage.

Rib Tip Basket – ¾ lb house-smoked rib tips tossed in your choice of sauce with plain or seasoned fries.

Smasher & Fries – Single, double, or triple Angus beef patty with all the classic fixings on a kaiser roll, served with fries.

Veal Parmigiana – Parmesan-breaded veal cutlets topped with marinara and melted mozzarella, served with cavatappi marinara and garlic bread.

We’ve got a special one lined up this evening.

Some of the earliest ideas for Mosey Down Main Street were dreamed up right here at Brewco over a few pints, and it means a lot to us to support the folks who keep that tradition alive.

Tonight’s show is a fundraiser for the Friends of Downtown, the team behind Mosey: and every $10 at the door helps make next year’s events even bigger, better, and more musical.

For 32 years, music has been part of the Lafayette Brewing Company’s story. In our early days, live shows lit up this building... guitars shaking the rafters, friends gathering over pints, and artists filling the room with the kind of energy you can’t fake. Music helped define who we were.

And then, for a while… it quieted. The city changed. We changed. Live music faded from our schedule, replaced by new priorities and new eras. But even during that long pause, the heart of Brewco never stopped beating to the rhythm of Lafayette’s creative community.

Some people don’t know this, but the very first ideas for Mosey Down Main Street were drafted right here at The Lafayette Brewing Company; literally scribbled on napkins, drafted over a few pints between friends who believed Lafayette deserved a festival that celebrated art, sound, and community. We’ve been honored to watch that spark turn into one of the city’s most beloved traditions.

From our humble beginnings to the bustling, creative, ever-evolving downtown we’re proud to be part of today, we’ve watched this community rise, rebuild, reinvent, and rediscover itself. And now, it feels right...heck even overdue, to bring music back to Brewco in a real and meaningful way; and this Saturday, we get to return the favor to our friends who helped turn our summers into a fun and vibrant affair!

We’re hosting a special fundraiser show that supports the Friends of Downtown, the hardworking crew behind Mosey Down Main Street. Every $10 cover goes directly toward helping next year’s Moseys grow, thrive, and continue to bring free music and community to Lafayette all summer long.

It feels fitting — almost poetic — that as we bring live music back to Brewco, we’re doing it in a way that helps fuel the very festival that was born within our walls. Lafayette Brewing Company and the Friends of Downtown are proud to introduce the first of the:
