It’s oyster night and this week we’re pairing fresh Cranberry Creek oysters with Stefano Antonucci Le Vaglie Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico from Italy’s Marche region.
Harvested from the cold, clean waters of the Hood Canal, Cranberry Creek oysters are known for their plump texture, bright salinity, and crisp finish.
These West Coast oysters offer a crisp, moderate brininess with earthy mineral notes and a slight honeydew melon finish.
In the glass, Le Vaglie Verdicchio delivers vibrant citrus, green apple, white peach, and delicate almond notes, supported by refreshing acidity and a distinctive mineral character. Produced in the renowned Castelli di Jesi zone along Italy’s Adriatic coast, it’s a classic expression of one of Italy’s great seafood wines.
We’ll see you tonight!
