Idle Hour Pub Established in 1980 and closed March 18th, 2016 The gorgeous bar dominates the room at The Idle Hour Pub, LaGrange's most authentic Irish pub.

The IHP is a good place to go to relax, talk with friends, and watch one of your favorite sporting events. Happy Hour is always packed with regulars & drink specials. Whether you are looking to enjoy lunch, dinner, or just a few pints, IHP is a perfect fit. You won't find any other place where you can get a glass of beer and a meal for under fifteen dollars. Their most popular meals are the pizza

s, hamburgers, fries and wings, not to mention the famous IHP chili. They also have reasonably priced dinner specials. Another plus is that the pitchers of draft beer are incredibly cheap. Idle Hour Pub has a great atmosphere; the flat screen TV's mounted on all the walls illuminate the bar, with mini versions at each table. There are sports banners, sports pictures, and beer promotions hanging up all over. You can sit down at any one of the tables and have bar staff to serve dinner and/or drinks. The staff are helpful and nice, full of energy and on top of things. We'd love for you to come visit the original LaGrange watering hole, the Idle Hour Pub.
