Spanish Peaks Music Festival

We have some awesome news about our festival! The Spanish Peaks Music Festival now belongs to Fox Theatre Walsenburg! That’s right, I have donated the festival to a 501(c)3 Charity. As you know, Mike Peters and the Fox theatre have been managing ticket sales, front of house, and developed the new website. The SPMF previously made a nice donation to the Fox. Now, the festival can become a significant contributor to their operating costs and performance venue.

I am ready to retire from the Festival business, and donating all the rights and the assets of the SPMF to the Fox is the right thing to do. Stay tuned for plans for the 2022 festival and other important news!!!!! Thank you all for your past support, and please do all you can to support the new owner and the community!!!!!!

Hi all!
I want to clear up some misinformation that is being put out there. The Spanish Peaks Music Festival is put on by a committee of 6 people. Although 4 of the 6 recommended and supported canceling the 2021 Festival, the decision was mine. I am 100% owner of the Festival. Jim Van Lue was one of the committee members, and never had an ownership position. So don’t blame Jim for the cancellation of 2021. Stay tuned for 2022.

Thanks to all of you who purchased tickets and camping spaces. We have refunded 100% of your money. It may take a maximum of 7 days to hit your credit card. We’re so disappointed as we’re sure you are. Let’s hope the pandemic is over soon. Take care, and stay safe.
