Lone Star Cook Off Lone Star Cook Off, helping local Seniors to continue their education. You are guaranteed to find something for all ages at the Lone Star Cook-off!

This Lone Star Cook-off came to life in 2005 with only 4 teams and since then we have grown to over 30 teams. All activities are free to the public; we have kid’s games, karaoke, tug-a-war and live entertainment! To date, The Lone Star Cook-off has handed out more than $35,500 in scholarships to deserving graduating seniors of Deer Park High School and that is the only function of this cook-off, to assist seniors with monetary support for college.
