CRAFTBEERANDWHISKEYLOVERSBOX is a club for those who appreciate home grown and regional micro brews and small batch and experimental whisk(e)y like ourselves. Maryland has always been a “WET” state...(pun intended), a rebel from the reformist who thought alcohol was the "Devil in a Bottle." We are seeing a resurgence of micro brews and distilleries in the region and are all about making it easier

for you to taste and enjoy the many different flavors of small batch productions. We partner with regional micro breweries and distilleries to make experimental and award winning small batch inventory exclusively accessible to our members. We take pleasure in educating members about beer and whisk(e)y and most importantly, accord our members the 1st taste of new bottles before they hit the market. We come together and enjoy our poison of choice..and all the “evils” that come with it! As a member, you receive a monthly gift crate of 11 (12oz) craft beers and a GREAT, EXPERIMENTAL, LIMITED PRODUCTION and COLLECTOR WORTHY BOTTLE OF SMALL BATCH WHISKEY, plus exclusive invites to brew and distillery house tours and our signature BAR-BEER-Q events. Our in-house Cicerone has the fabulous task of selecting, pairing and putting together these wonderful gift crates. TASTING NOTES

"Toasted malt and honey covered fruit take over on the nose. The sherry influence shines through on the nose and palate with dried fruits. Heathery and herbal notes are found as well. This 21 year is a bit more spicy and robust than the 12 year and has a small dose of char smoke at the end. This is a rich, luscious whisky with a long finish. "

STOUT GINGERBREAD FLIP

Ingredients:
1 1/2 ounces stout beer (Preferably a chocolate stout)
1 1/2 ounces blackstrap rum
1 ounce ginger liqueur
1/2 ounce allspice dram
1 egg white
A couple dashes chocolate bitters
Fresh-grated cinnamon and nutmeg
Lemon peel and/or candied ginger, for garnish

Instructions:
Pour the stout into a chilled coupe (or double rocks) glass.
In a cocktail shaker, combine the rum, ginger liqueur, allspice dram, egg white, and bitters.
Shake until combined. Add a big handful of ice, then shake again, vigorously for about 30 seconds. Strain into the glass, and top with cinnamon and nutmeg. Garnish with lemon or ginger.
