I started this page several years ago to try and build up and save our
La Habra Elks Lodge 2095.
It didn't work. I don't have the heart to take it down. When I was invited to join, I was be 25 years old. I am now 66, holy crap. We were forced to close. What a loss. So many friends I don't get to see on a daily basis. We were like family. You could stop at the Lodge and always find a friend. It's sad. Why don't we use this site to check in by from time to time. C'mon check in fellow Elks even if you are not a La Habra Lodge # 2095 Elk, you can say hello too. Let's keep the spirit of this Lodge alive.

38 years at La Habra Elks 2095, a lifetime. I was 25 when I joined and am now 62. I hope that even though our members have been transferred to Fullerton, Buena Park and a few others, I am questioning myself if I want to continue. Im thinking yes, but my fire is gone. How do you leave your home? I guess I'll continue. Still no lifetime pin, they are supposed to be at 30 years, but since Im not 65 years old, Im 8 years past 30, I was 25 when I joined and have 38 years in, I would say that is a lifetime, but Grand Lodge says no, OK then, I respectfully give them the finger. and a loud up yours. Now of course I dont mean that in a bad way

Hello Elks members you old friends you. I dont know if you've heard, but Bill Parks of Gene and Billy has passed away just recently. I spoke with Gene and we thought it would be nice to have a memorial at the Elks since his daughter up in Ventura isnt doing any type of service. So we decided today that we would just have a celebration of life in the bar with permission of course. We will be there on Saturday August 5th when the lodge opens

Why don't we talk about the Elks Lodge and getting y'all to join. You can be democrat or republican, we don't care as long as you are American. We respect OUR flag and watch out for each other. Get ahold of me and join. Its inexpensive to belong to a private club, and you are welcome at the many hundreds of Elks nationwide. The benefits are so rewarding to me. To all my Lowell family, I have been a member of the La Habra Elks Lodge for 35 years (ok I was 3 when I joined) I would like to invite all you men and women alike to get ahold of me and I will get you sponsored so if you want to join this service club, you may. We help Veterans , we support the Boy Scouts, we supply many scholarships and help out when we can in the community. Once a member, you are welcome at any Elks lodge in the country. We have great dinners at very reasonable prices and lots of folks to friend. As we always say, come in a stranger, and leave a friend. I could use some ideas for a function for a membership drive for the La Habra Elks. I did speak to Andrea at the La Habra 300 bowling alley and her mom Cathy Burch Gage about us doing a partnership car show utilizing their parking lot across the road from the Elks. We could set up a booth at the cars show and some ambassadors to walk people across and over to the Elks for a tour and to answer any questions about the Elks. We could set up booths in our parking lot for food and maybe automotive supplies and products for cars. Please let me know what you think. Perfect time of year to do a car show!!

where can you join a private club and enjoy camaraderie a safe cocktail lounge and inexpensive dining for $119 per year. Then any tickets purchased for functions are tax deductible. Imagine that? Lowell alumni would have a perfect place to meet. Kinda like a central location for all. I will sponsor you or you may have a friend that is already a member sponsor you. I have been a member of this lodge since I was 25 years old. Ive had lots of fun and happy for the help the Elks gives to the community, veterans, boyscouts. The list goes on. The Holidays are very special too. Please call the Elks lodge or myself if you wish to join. Membership is very inexpensive at just over $100 per year. This is cheap for the benefits you receive especially the feeling you get when you help others. Elks number is 562-697-9266

I am setting up this page on my own as the membership chairman at my lodge. La Habra Elks Lodge 2095. I am going to try and educate people on this organization and why it is a good thing that we cannot let die. I will be adding more and more information as the days go by and my time allows.
