It's that time of year again, listeners! "Wrapped" is a brilliant marketing campaign, but there are other options for listening to music on the go. We made the switch to earlier this year and haven't looked back! If you dig podcasts, check out Antenna Pod. That was the thing that held us back for a while but at this point there's no real reason to stay with the evil that Spotify embodies. Although it's difficult to decipher the degree, artists definitely get paid more on Tidal than other services and it seems to sound better.

Yo yo! Rusty here. We have quietly been working on two brand new events this fall so we've been pretty quiet on the internet as a result.

I'm over the moon that the second of these events is finally here! The first was Catoosa Fest in beautiful Jamestown, TN and it went off splendidly over Labor Day weekend. The second is 4th and Chill and it takes place tomorrow (Saturday) and is completely free!

These events take so much work and as I get older, I realize that I probably wouldn't be able to start from scratch and learn all the ins and outs of running large events at this point in my life.

But I'm just helping out on this one and without Drew Drake, Jarius Bush and DeShawn Johnson, this wouldn't have come together. 4th and Chill will take place on N 4th Street and we're going to close the road and set up vendors, a bar and of course, a stage from our always reliable friends at True Grip. There have been several sponsors step up as well and we couldn't do it without them. Please check the poster and find a way to support them if you like what we're doing.

The schedule of events for both the main stage in the street and the second stage inside Sassy Anne's is included here but I'm most excited about the reunion of The Theorist.

They have always been my favorite hip hop unit in Knoxville history and selfishly, I can't wait to see them tomorrow. FOR FREE!

If you're able, please come out and buy some merch and a libation or two so we can make enough mullah to pay these bands what they deserve and have another edition next year.
