Happy Craft Malt Month!

We kicked it off yesterday with a batch of Baker Creek. TBH, Baker is the staple beer that uses the least craft malt (because it requires more dark malt than our other beers), but it’s still brewed with more than 85% of grains grown in the Southeast. We love that craft malt supports Tennessee farmers, prioritizes sustainability, has more flavor and character than what comes from commodity farms and maltsters. This brew used a blend of Southern Select, Dark Munich, and Hull + Oats from our friends Riverbend Malt House to create a bit more nuanced flavor profile.

Stop in and taste the difference of craft malt. After all, craft beer deserves craft ingredients.

About to get nerdy!

It’s been a crazy week for the brew team. Canning, brewing, collabing. We were very excited to see our dissolved oxygen numbers on the beers that were canned Tuesday. DO impacts the flavor and shelf life of beer in negative ways, so we always shoot to be under 50 parts per billion out of the tanks. Low teens and under kicks ass, so make sure to thank your local brewer!!!

Order a Pilsner or Baker Creek, or take some home. Both are fresh af and ready to go.
