𝗥𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗱 & 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹: As you may know, we’ve had to make some tough decisions lately — including closing Island Soul - Kirkland. And while we’re proud of what we built in Kirkland, the 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 from that closure are now putting pressure on our original home in

Truthfully, we hate to ask. Yet, we don’t intend on going anywhere and to keep pushing forward... we need your help ❤️‍🩹

We’re overwhelmed by all the love—thank you for the kind words, comments, and personal messages. We’ve read every single one and truly feel your support. It means the world to us.

When we first opened Arleana’s, it wasn’t just about honoring Theo’s mom and the incredible work she did for her community in the Central District, it was about bringing people together and loving one another through food. We hope we made that kind of impact here in Kirkland.

Though it’s goodbye, Kirkland, you’ll always have a safe place to eat, drink, and laugh with us in Columbia City

We hope to see you today and tomorrow for one final goodbye. Let’s send off Kirkland with all the heart it deserves!

With heavy hearts, we’re announcing that will be closing after this Sunday, May 25. Join us for one last brunch as we say goodbye 😭

We know this comes on short notice, and we are truly sorry. These past two years in Kirkland have meant the world to us. We’ve poured so much love into this space, and you gave it right back—through your support, your stories, and your presence.

This wasn’t an easy decision, but please know how grateful we are for every visit, every shared meal, and every smile.

Though this chapter is closing, it’s not goodbye... we’re still here for you at our Seattle location (), continuing to serve the soul you know and love.
