Dear People of Kinston,

With heartfelt gratitude, we extend our deepest appreciation to everyone who has dined with us over the years at The Laughing Owl Restaurant in Downtown Kinston. Together, we have created countless cherished memories and celebrated numerous special occasions. Your unwavering support and patronage have been the cornerstone of our success.

It is with mixed emotions that we announce The Laughing Owl Restaurant will be closing its doors on Saturday June 1st. This decision was not made lightly, and we will always treasure the wonderful moments we've shared with the Kinston community.

As a special farewell, we invite you to join us this Friday night for our final live music by Swimming With Sharks. From 7 PM - 10 PM, it promises to be an unforgettable evening, and we would love to share this special moment with all of you.

Thank you, Kinston, for allowing us the honor of serving you and being a part of your lives. It has been an absolute pleasure to be a part of this vibrant community.

We invite you to visit us at our Goldsboro location, where we look forward to continuing the tradition of excellent food and warm hospitality.

Hey there!

We reckon love should be celebrated every day, not just on Valentine’s Day. So, why not swing by The Laughing Owl Restaurant this Valentine’s Day? From 4:00 PM, we’ve got four mouthwatering dinner specials for you:

1. Blackened Salmon with fettuccine pasta in our homemade pesto sauce.
2. Roasted Braised Ribs with creamy mashed potatoes.
3. Roasted Rosemary Cornish Hen with a tangy lemon sauce and garlic butter asparagus.
4. And of course, our famous Laughing Owl Surf & Turf.

Don’t forget to wash it all down with our signature Prickly Pear Iced Tea and finish off with a slice of NY Cheesecake topped with berry sauce.

Oh, and the best part? We'll have live music by Scott McCounehey.
